Leslie McCormack spent six years as the principal tenor horn in the renowned Black Dyke brass band and has played the French horn with the Academy of St Olave’s since 2003.
After graduating from the University of York with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Physics and Electronics, Les spent six years as the principal tenor horn in the renowned Black Dyke brass band.
During this time, he toured Europe and the USA, appeared numerous times on TV and radio, and recorded several award-winning CDs, including an Oscar-nominated soundtrack for Babe: Pig in the City in 1999.
Les has played the French horn with the Academy of St Olave’s since 2003 and works as an engineering consultant.
