Katherine Mahon studied Music at the University of York and sang with the Ebor Singers and Yorkshire Bach Choir for four years as both member and soloist.

Katherine Mahon grew up in London where she studied music throughout her school years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department.  Whilst at the College, she specialised in piano, flute and composition and sang in the Chamber Choir.  Katherine went on to study for a Music degree at York University, but specialised as a singer.  Whilst in York Katherine sang with the Ebor Singers and the Yorkshire Bach Choir for four years as a choral and solo member of both and also performed around Yorkshire as a soloist in madrigal and oratorio concerts.  After her time in York, Katherine’s hope is to return to London to further her career as a singer.
