Diana Clough studied music at the University of York and is one of several York graduate musicians who have settled and made a career here.

Diana is currently principal flute in the Academy of St. Olave’s. She is a founder-member of the City of York Guildhall Orchestra, is involved in other ensembles such as York Opera as well as working as a freelance. Favourite among her music-making is chamber music, hence her wish to play in the 2001 Bach Suite No 2 in B minor for flute and strings (BWV 1067) with single strings.

Diana is also a well-known flute teacher in the area, teaching at St. Peter’s School and Queen Margaret’s Escrick.
