Charitable Donations
The Academy often chooses a charity to support and audiences have donated generously at collections held at recent concerts.
During June & July 2011, academy violinist Marcus Bousfield and our director Alan George are both undertaking challenges in aid of Jessie's Fund.
Marcus is swimming Lake Windermere (www.justgiving.com/Marcus-Bousfield) and Alan is cycling from York to Amsterdam and back (www.justgiving.com/amsterslam11). Any support most welcome: all money raised will help children with complex needs through music.

Floods Appeal - the Academy donated all proceeds from the concert and
also held an audience collection
